Snowboarder's avalanche encounter caught on tape

When female pro snowboarder Meesh Hytner was riding down a Colorado mountain, she triggered a terrifying avalanche. Hytner was able to deploy an airbag so she could remain on the surface of the giant slab as it broke out above her.

Pretty cool use of an airbag!! Wonder if the standard get out of the middle might have helped once she knew it was moving? She was dead center? The observers are pretty chill..she could have been under some heavy pack there!
